The Selection Committee appointed by the Spanish National Youth Orchestra (JONDE) and chaired by Jesús Rueda, Artistic Director of the Fundació Ferrer de Música, has today announced the list of winners of the 3rd edition of the JONDE & Ferrer-Salat Scholarships. For the third consecutive year, and thanks to the collaboration agreement between the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music (INAEM) and the Fundació Ferrer de Música, we are awarding 30 new scholarships to support projects by JONDE musicians.

Each of these scholarships provides a gross financial contribution of €8,000 to support the artistic growth of 30 young musicians who are part of the Instrumentalist Pool of the Spanish National Youth Orchestra (JONDE). Unlike other music scholarships, this funding can be allocated to a current or future project proposed by the recipients. For this reason, one of the key selection criteria was the extent to which the scholarship would significantly contribute to the artistic development of their proposed project or training plan.

From the Fundació Ferrer de Música, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the musicians who submitted applications. To the winners of this third edition, we express our gratitude for the opportunity to continue fulfilling our mission of creating opportunities and promoting social justice through music.

This scholarship program, launched two years ago and now joining other grants offered by the Fundació Ferrer de Música, reflects our ongoing commitment to collaborating with well-established institutions known for their excellence. Together, we strive to support and foster the artistic excellence of exceptionally talented young musicians during their formative years.
