XVI Ferrer-Salat Scholarships – Conservatori Liceu: Winners Announced

Once again, the Fundació Ferrer de Música reaffirms its commitment to talent and excellence by awarding the Ferrer-Salat Scholarships. In this 16th edition, 20 new four-year scholarships have been granted to pursue the Bachelor's Degree in Music at the Conservatori Liceu. Additionally, 20 Excellence Scholarships have been awarded to students from the institution, enabling young musicians to continue their education without economic barriers hindering their artistic future.

A Ceremony Filled with Emotion and Commitment

The announcement of the new scholarship recipients took place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Auditori del Conservatori Liceu, during an event that also featured a concert by previous scholarship holders. Emotion, pride, and music were the main elements in a ceremony celebrating the effort and vocation of the selected young individuals.

During the event, Sergi Ferrer-Salat, president of the Fundació Ferrer de Música and the Fundació Conservatori Liceu, encouraged students to responsibly embrace the privilege of receiving a scholarship, highlighting the impact their art can have beyond the stage:

“Behind every musician, there is also a social activist, a person committed to building a more just and supportive society,” he stated.
