The call will be open from September 30 to November 30, 2025, and is aimed at candidates of Spanish nationality or legal residents in Spain, born from 1990 onwards, who have training or experience in composition. Applications can be submitted through the website of the Federation of Joventuts Musicals of Catalonia.
The four selected candidates will be required to create two original works (one chamber piece and one symphonic work), which will be premiered as part of the Xarxa de Músiques of Joventuts Musicals de Catalunya. The jury — composed of representatives from the Fundació Ferrer de Música and Joventuts Musicals, as well as distinguished creators — will announce the results on December 15, 2025.
Through this initiative, the Fundació Ferrer de Música reaffirms its commitment to innovation, culture, and supporting new generations of creators.
