The Live Room of the Liceu Conservatory is a space renovated thanks to the patronage of the Ferrer-Salat Music Foundation, conceived to host live music and to be a resource open to the city and its people for the dissemination of culture and music. A new series of activities focusing on music, nature, sustainability, and science will begin on February 20th.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Music and nature, sound dialogues about our planet<\/em><\/strong> will be the program\u2019s first concert-talk, an enthralling experience of deep connection and reflection by Nacho Peres, head of Permaculture at the Ferrer-Sustainability Foundation<\/strong>, another branch of the Ferrer ecosystem. In the same way that these talks bring together culture and music, social equity and climate justice are the pillars of both foundations, raising awareness, generating equal opportunities, and trying to regain the sensitivity lost in the heart of today’s society.<\/p>

During this first evening, the audience will be able to see how, over the centuries, composers have found inspiration in the sounds and beauty of the natural environment and how they have fused harmonies, melodies, and textures to create an emotional dialogue with our planet. At the same time, Nacho Peres will invite us to reflect on soundscapes and the role of society in preserving them in the face of an unfortunately bleak scenario resulting from human selfishness and neglect.<\/p>

Through these cycles, and with the Live Room being a loudspeaker for knowledge and critical thought, the Liceu Conservatory and the Foundation actively contribute to raising awareness, through music, of the need to act collectively to save the planet.<\/p>
