Music is not only learned: it is lived, shared, and becomes a transformative experience. These days, students from six schools participating in the Primary and Secondary Music Program supported by the Fundaci\u00f3 Ferrer de M\u00fasica are taking part in the Liceu Familiar participatory concert series\u2014an initiative that brings music beyond the classroom and onto a real, shared stage.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The participating schools\u2014Escola Bon Pastor<\/strong>, Col\u00b7legi Sant\u00edssima Trinitat<\/strong>, Escola l\u2019Esperan\u00e7a<\/strong>, Escola Pia Sant Antoni<\/strong>, La Salle Comtal<\/strong> and Escol\u00e0pies Sabadell<\/strong>\u2014are experiencing a unique journey that culminates months of musical work. This process involves not only technical learning, but also the creation of a collective project brought to life through performance in front of families and the educational community.<\/strong><\/p>

An educational model based on rigor and equal access<\/strong><\/p>

The program, launched in the 2016\u20132017 academic year in collaboration with the Fundaci\u00f3 Conservatori Liceu<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, is aimed at schools located in highly vulnerable contexts and seeks to bring music closer to children and young people as a tool for education and personal development. It strengthens music education within the school schedule by increasing teaching hours, enabling a consistent and meaningful integration of music into daily school life.<\/p>

One of the program\u2019s key pillars is ensuring equal access to musical practice. To achieve this, a bank of more than 200 instruments is made available to students,<\/strong> removing economic barriers and ensuring that all children and young people can develop musically on equal terms. At the same time, the program follows the rigor and methodology of the Conservatori del Liceu<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, guaranteeing high-quality training aligned with professional standards.<\/p>

Training, practice and collective creation<\/strong><\/p>

The program combines different learning formats to offer a comprehensive musical experience: individual lessons, group sessions, and collective practice spaces where bands and ensembles are created. This approach helps develop both technical skills and social competencies, fostering collaboration, listening, and teamwork.<\/p>

Teachers, specialized in music education, also receive ongoing training<\/strong> to ensure the pedagogical quality of the program and to adapt to the specific needs of students and educational contexts. In this way, the program not only impacts students, but also strengthens the capabilities of teaching teams.<\/p>

Music, confidence and community<\/strong><\/p>

The six participating schools are part of the Escoles Liceu network, which includes around forty schools committed to high-quality music education. This model allows music to become a structural part of school life, enabling students to grow through artistic experience.<\/p>

The Liceu Familiar participatory cantatas represent a key moment within the program. Beyond musical performance, these concerts become spaces for gathering and collective expression, where students build confidence, strengthen self-esteem, and share their learning with families and the broader educational community.<\/p>

A growing project<\/strong><\/p>

Through initiatives like this, the Fundaci\u00f3 Ferrer de M\u00fasica reaffirms its commitment to universal access to culture and to the power of music as a tool for social transformation.<\/strong> The program continues to grow and will expand to new schools, consolidating a model that connects artistic excellence with social impact.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
