This morning, the programme for the 34th edition of the Schubert\u00edada was presented at Palau Moja in Barcelona, one of the leading meeting points for chamber music and lied in Europe. During the event, the concerts of the Lied the Future programme were announced, featuring the five international duos awarded in this year\u2019s edition.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Supported by the Fundaci\u00f3 Ferrer de M\u00fasica, Lied the Future<\/strong> is an initiative that accompanies young voice and piano duos in their artistic development, offering them high-level training with leading professionals and opportunities to perform in prestigious venues and festivals.<\/strong><\/p>

In this edition, five international duos have been selected to take part in the programme and will perform at the Can\u00f2nica de Santa Maria de Vilabertran<\/strong> on two dates. The first concert will take place on August 20, 2026 at 5:30 pm<\/strong><\/a>, featuring Katharina Bierweiler<\/strong> and Jyri Mishukov<\/strong>, as well as Marta Esteban<\/strong> and Adri\u00e0 Crespo<\/strong>. The second concert will be held on August 25, 2026, also at 5:30 pm<\/strong><\/a>, and will feature Klara Brockhaus<\/strong> and Rodolfo Focarelli<\/strong>, Alba Valdivieso<\/strong> and Carlos Bujosa<\/strong>, and Jasperina Verheij<\/strong> with Willem van den Dool<\/strong>.<\/p>

Through this initiative, young artists not only gain access to specialised training, but also have the opportunity to showcase their work to audiences in high-level professional settings.<\/p>

The Fundaci\u00f3 Ferrer de M\u00fasica particularly values the role of programmes such as Lied the Future in helping emerging talent take the step onto professional stages, contributing to the renewal and vitality of lied in today\u2019s musical landscape.<\/strong><\/p>
