The Ferrer Music Foundation<\/strong> is a non-profit organization<\/strong> that works to make music a tool for personal and social transformation<\/strong>. Since its creation in 1982<\/strong>, it has promoted access to music<\/strong> and talent development<\/strong> through projects of musical excellence<\/strong>, training scholarships<\/strong>, and social integration initiatives<\/strong>.<\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We firmly believe that music is a collective good with deep transformative value<\/strong>, capable of generating opportunities, strengthening cohesion, and awakening people\u2019s creative potential. With this conviction, we develop programs that combine artistic quality<\/strong> with social commitment<\/strong>, bringing music to all audiences, especially those in situations of vulnerability.<\/p>

In the field of musical excellence<\/strong>, the Foundation annually awards the Queen Sof\u00eda Prize for Musical Composition<\/strong>, a recognition of international prestige<\/strong> and the most generously endowed in Europe<\/strong>, and offers scholarships for young talents through the Ferrer-Salat Program<\/strong> with the Liceu Conservatory<\/strong> and the JONDE-Ferrer Salat Program<\/strong> with the Spanish National Youth Orchestra<\/strong>.<\/p>

At the same time, through its social integration initiatives<\/strong>, the Foundation promotes educational and community projects<\/strong> that use music as a vehicle to foster self-esteem, collaboration, and the development of personal and social skills<\/strong>.<\/p>

The Foundation also drives research on the relationship between musical learning and cognitive, emotional, and social development<\/strong>, with special attention to children with neurodevelopmental disorders<\/strong>, offering them new pathways for diagnosis and treatment through music<\/strong>.<\/p>

Through this work, the Ferrer Music Foundation<\/strong> reaffirms its commitment to three main goals:<\/p>

  • Promote musical excellence<\/strong> and the development of strong professional careers.<\/li>
  • Facilitate access to music<\/strong> as a tool for transformation and social inclusion.<\/li>
  • Research the therapeutic potential of music<\/strong> in contexts of vulnerability.<\/li><\/ul>

    The Ferrer Music Foundation<\/strong> is part of the Ferrer Foundations<\/strong>, five inspiring organizations born from the strong commitment of the Ferrer pharmaceutical company<\/strong>, a B Corp<\/strong> whose purpose is to use its business to fight for social justice<\/strong>.
